  • Thanksgiving Style Guide

    Posted on by Ashley Pinchev

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching in only one short week and just as I thought of the foods I planned to prepare, wines to serve, and guests to invite for dinner, I also began to brainstorm the ideal Thanksgiving outfit. I am a lover of fall neutrals and styled this casual Thanksgiving look from some of my favorite fall basics with an emphasis on comfort.

    Casual Thanksgiving

This look encompasses some of my favorite fall colors: burgundy, black, and shades of beige and grey. These skinny jeans have just enough stretch that they'll be comfortable all day long (even after a little too much pie!) and the wine color makes for a unique complement piece to the black in this look. Vince makes some of my favorite sweaters and this blouson sweater is no exception. With its blouson style and cutout back it truly elevates the basic sweater style to something a touch more interesting. Our Worthington Corners black cashmere sweater layers beautifully overtop. This scarf is buttery soft with a luxurious feel. The felt Rag & Bone hat in shades of black adds a fashion forward element to our ensemble.

I've paired this outfit with fur trimmed booties from my favorite small production shoe brand, M. Gemi. I LOVE that all of their products are unique designs made of high quality leather in Italy. Their styles sell out quickly, but its the nature of limited quantity but high quality European products. I am one to always carry a large purse so I've included a beautiful, beige/grey colored Annabel Ingall leather tote. I fell in love with Annabel Ingall's leather totes while strolling the SoHo Bloomingdale's earlier this year. The beige/grey color lightens up some of the black and plays off of the darker grey tones in the felt hat. This large leather tote is the perfect size for all of our essentials, some non-essentials, and even a hostess gift!

  • Kate Middleton's Classic Fall Style

    Posted on by Ashley Pinchev

On this first day of November, I am particulaly inspired by all things "Fall." We are entering the season of pumpkin spice, warm apple cider, crisp autumn evenings, changing colors of the leaves, spending time with family and friends, and giving thanks for all of the good in our lives.

In my interpretation, the corresponding fall fashion is characterized by relaxed, richly textured earth toned fabrics and natural materials. All of which are flawlessly highlighted in the snapshot of Kate Middleton included below. From her autumn themed feather fascinator to the olive hued herringbone jacket, Kate's ensemble is effortlessly elegant. The look is completed by her natural, glowing skin and uncomplicated ponytail (my personal favorite hairstyle!).

Kate Middleton is arguably one of the most iconic figures in modern day British fashion. Her classic, timeless fashion personality is exactly the style that we strive to emulate in the Worthington Corners brand identity. She is a style icon that we can be proud to look to for inspiration.
