  • Camel Pashmina for a Spring Soiree

    Posted on by Ashley Pinchev

The Spring season always seems to be full of wonderful life events to celebrate. From Easter to babies and weddings, I've always felt that the beauty of spring brings out the beauty of celebration. This past weekend I attended a beautiful bridal shower for one of my sweet sorority sisters. I always find myself to be a bit chilly at events like these and our pashmina collection is my favorite accessory to keep my shoulders warm!
I've noticed that my spring dress wardrobe favors ivory, light pink, and baby blue as these shades of pastel just feel so appropriate for the season. Our pashminas come in a range of gorgeous pastel colors in addition to the classics. This camel color is just the right neutral and one of our most popular selling pieces across collections. Not only is the Worthington Corners pashmina a must-have accessory, but also a beautiful gift for Mom, a sister, or a lovely friend.

  • Styling the Camel Pashmina

    Posted on by Ashley Pinchev

Our Pashmina Collection is our most formal and elegant accessory option. The pashmina is an effortless and elegant way to add coverage or warmth to a more formal outfit. When styling our camel pashmina, I chose an all black backdrop that allows the pashmina to "pop" and be the focal point of this ensemble. I paired the camel pashmina with black heels, tights, a long sleeve dress, and black Tahitian pearls. While the pashmina can easily be worn as a full scarf, as our widest product offering it is ideal for wrapping around your shoulders. The soft, silky material gives this particular item a formal flair that is perfect for styling with dresses of many varieties. Since winter is now coming into full swing, I feel the chill most places we visit and am always thankful to have an easy yet sophisticated and beautiful accessory to wrap around my shoulders for a bit of added warmth. The fabric is so that it is perfectly appropriate to wear indoors at even the most formal events.

  • Styling the Honey Beige Herringbone Scarf

    Posted on by Ashley Pinchev

The honey beige herringbone scarf is part of Worthington Corners' only patterned collection. I love to see this scarf as the focal point of a neutral fall outfit. While this scarf is extremely versatile, I've styled it in this post with a cream wool sweater, simple black skinny jeans, and cognac brown equestrian style riding boots. It coordinates well with most shades of brown but I prefer either cognac or chocolate brown. I find that both of these shades of brown are richly pigmented and bring out the honey tones in the scarf's woven pattern. This scarf also has a heavy weight to it which makes it easy to style as it stays in place once wrapped. I prefer to wear my scarves wrapped closer to my face and the herringbone scarves hold their shape beautifully. This outfit can easily transition from fall to winter temperatures with the addition of a pea coat as well as a beautiful pair of leather gloves. Originally worn by European sailors, the pea coat is an absolute winter staple for men and women alike. Our herringbone scarf would be beautiful peaking out of the collar of a black or camel colored pea coat. Neutral, earth toned pieces are essentials in everyone's wardrobe as they can mix and match with virtually anything.
